"So... I have a plan." Cable grinned as he walked into the place she was in.
"We're in the future, things are not so great, and as with all things, the path had to start somewhere in our time, or before it. But we can at least try to make things better from our own time."
He nodded and turned some papers her way. "The historical society has a low security database with all the details we could ever need to help make this future not so dark. We just have to get to it..."
He grinned, eyes bright, wanting her, willing her, almost, to say yes. |
